Anthroposophic Medicine
Anthroposophic Medicine is a form of Integrated Medicine. It addresses the individual’s personality, physical constitution and their outer social environment.
It complements conventional medicine and has been particularly helpful in the treatment of people with acute and chronic physical conditions (such as hypertension, heart disease, functional heart problems, arterio-sclerosis, diabetes, gout etc.), as wel as emotional problems (such as depression and anxiety disorders).
Patients are often prescribed anthroposophic remedies, herbal or potentised (homeopathic) and nutritional therapy.
There are over a thousand anthroposophic general practitioners and consultants around the world, working in hospitals or as independent practitioners. Anthroposophic practitioners are fully qualified medical doctors.
